Approach
It may sound simplistic, but improving personal and business success is fundamentally based around four key factors:
- Better & informed decision making
- Achieving the correct Balance (wrt everything!)
- Establishing alignment of all resources with strategic purpose
- Leading & Inspiring others to do what we ask of them
i.e. what we say, what we do and how we lead others on the journey to where we believe we need to be.
How successful we are in managing these factors and the boldness with which we embrace such change, has a big influence on the measure of personal and business success we ultimately achieve.
ISΔS approach utilises knowledge, skills and experience gained as S&MD and CEO of a global SME and successfully applied via this business practice throughout a wide range of SME's to facilitate improved understanding and application of these factors by the use of the following:
- Developing a proper understanding and definition of 'what is the business of the business' to establish a clear appreciation of customer value & competitive positioning
- Conversion of Vision, Mission and associated drivers of Value into a properly aligned strategic programme
- Creation of alignment of all resources and key business processes with strategic purpose
- Definition and development of the art and science of 'Leadership' in establishing consensus, 'teamship' and 'followership' for the creation of a flexible, efficient and effective enterprise
- Effective implementation of the "7 C's"; Communication, Co-operation, Co-ordination, Consideration, Consensus, Culture and Commitment
- Definition and management of acceptable risk 'appetite' within the bounds of entrepreneurial vision, market dynamics and available/accessible resources
- Performance management of financial and non-financial assets over an appropriately balanced short and long term programme to facilitate better informed decision making
- Understanding of the 5 life-streams and the importance of managing the appropriate Balance for personal longevity and success
